— FRP: Piezometer for measuring pore-water pressure in partially frozen soils and tight formations
— Inclinometers (including also Fiber Optic Gyroscope Inclinometer)
— Tiltmeters
— Deformation Benchmarks
— Settlement Cells
— Seepage meters
— Load Cells
— Pressure Cells
— Extensometers
— Crack meters
— Vibration monitoring for pile driving monitoring as well as pile inspection and instrumentation services
Alpha Adroit experts also develop new instruments for specialized applications. FRP: Piezometer for measuring pore-water pressure in partially frozen soils and tight formations (United States Patent US 9,140,615 B2) was invented by Dr. Mohammadali Kia, P.Eng. (President, Alpha Adroit Engineering Ltd) together with co-inventors Dr. Norbert Rubin Morgenstern, P.Eng. and Dr. David Charles Sego, P.Eng. (Professor Emeritus, University of Alberta). Alpha Adroit experts have extensive experience in using instrumentation for dams, tailing dams, tunnels, tailings, open-pit mining, underground mining, bridges, slopes, forensic investigations, and other geotechnical applications. Three of Alpha Adroit's most senior Principal Geotechnical Engineers have been in practice since 1972 and have been involved with numerous geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring projects ever since.
We provide our geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring services throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories.
Alpha Adroit offers services to international locations (particularly the Middle East) through its headquarters and advanced laboratories in Edmonton, Alberta.
Projects in Alaska, Iceland, Greenland, Ontario, Manitoba, Newfoundland, and Labrador would be considered based on the project's merits and Alpha Adroit's unique advantages.
